What is Sandstone

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed mainly of sand-sized minerals or rock grains.

Most sandstone is composed of quartz and/or feldspar because these are the most common minerals in the Earth’s crust.

Using Sandstone around Salt Water Pools

If using sandstone pavers around a salt water pool, it is highly recommended that you pre-seal the pool coping with Dry-Treat 40SK before installation to prevent salt attack. This has to then be cleaned and sealed once again post installation.

Sandstone pool coping, when pre-sealed with Dry-Treat 40SK, provides a unique and beautiful look without compromising on strength and durability.
